- 이집트 한국어 학습자의 호칭어 사용 경험에 관한 내러티브 연구 - 공식적 상황을 중심으로 - -
This study aims to analyze the experience of using Korean terms of address in formal situations on graduates of the department of Korean language at university A in Egypt. By narrative inquiry, data analysis showed that the participants’ answers were classified into two categories: difficulties in using Korean terms of address experienced by participants and strategies for using appropriate terms of address. The difficulties in using terms of address refer to the differences in the terms of address systems between Arabic and Korean, the burden of using it, lack of education, as well as changes in terms of address depending on the community. To overcome such difficulties, in non-urgent situations, in advance preparation would be the most convenient solution. However, in urgent situations, it would be most appropriate whether to avoid using them or the choice of the highest terms should be endorsed.
